Jiangsu and Nanjing intelligent transportation system scheme assumption
Abstract Jiangsu is located in the Yangtze River Delta region with the fastest economic development in China. In recent years, the sharp increase of transportation vehicles and the construction of transportation facilities can not keep up with economic development. Traffic congestion is very prominent in Suzhou (excluding Suzhou Industrial Park), Wuxi, Changzhou and Nanjing. Traffic congestion, traffic accidents and vehicle emissions in turn affect regional economic development. With the desire to build a large-scale, all-round, real-time, accurate and efficient integrated transportation management system for the ground in Jiangsu and Nanjing, and combined with the previous engineering experience, the author puts forward the idea of the intelligent transportation system scheme for Jiangsu and Nanjing
1 with the rise of new online consumption formats and the current situation of transportation infrastructure in Jiangsu and Nanjing
Jiangsu is located on the eastern coast of the motherland, bordering the Yellow Sea to the East, Shanghai to the south, Zhejiang to the west, Anhui to the west, and Shandong to the north. The area is about 102600 square kilometers. The population is about 74.1 million. There are nearly 1000 kilometers of coastline. It has jurisdiction over 13 provincial-level cities including Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Yangzhou, Xuzhou, Lianyungang, Taizhou, Yancheng, Nantong, Suqian and Huai'an. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 20 two-way six lane and eight Lane expressways and high-grade highways in Jiangsu, such as Shanghai Nanjing Expressway, Nanjing Lianyungang expressway, Nanjing TongZhou expressway, XuLian expressway, Nanjing Hefei Expressway and Nanjing Malaba expressway, with the density ranking first in the country. It has 9 railway trunk lines from Nanjing to Shanghai, from Nanjing to Ma'anshan, from Xuzhou to Lianyungang, and the newly-built Xinyi Changxing Railway (Xinyi Changxing), Nanjing Qidong railway. Water transportation has more than 20 trunk and branch canals, such as the long and small river, Xinyi River, Xintongyang canal, Tongyu canal, Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal, Tonglu, tongqi, and baoshe, xinliangduo River, Sancang River, Wanggang River, doulonggang river. There are also river crossing transportation facilities: Six Yangtze River bridges and car passenger ferry routes from Nantong to Zhangjiagang, Zhenjiang to Yangzhou, Tongzhou to Changshu, Banqiao, etc. Thirteen provincial cities have nine air airports. The above transportation facilities have played an important supporting role in the economic development of Jiangsu
good communication facilities, smooth transportation, abundant energy, efficient and flexible Finance (banking system) and elegant living environment are the main characteristics of modern cities. Nanjing is moving forward. If Jiangsu is compared to one, Nanjing is the center of the road. Highways, railways, waterways and air routes closely connect Nanjing with the whole province, the whole country and the world. Nanjing governs 13 districts and two counties including Gulou and Jianye, covering an area of about 6597.6 square kilometers. The urban area is about 200.85 square kilometers due to the fixed connection mode, and the population is about 6.7 million. During the Eleventh Five Year Plan period, the population will reach 10million. There are three Yangtze River bridges, and the construction of the fourth Yangtze River Bridge was also started this year. There are more than 200 two-way four lane to ten Lane vehicle roads in the city, and nearly 100 parking lots and parking spaces can park more than 30000 cars. There are subway line 1 and 123 bus routes. Four railway stations and seven highway passenger transport links the four directions. The Traffic Management Bureau has built the city's main transportation hub command center. The construction of Metro Line 2 has started bidding Nevertheless, people often complain about the long travel time, and some people have made records. Eleven years ago, it took 16 to 20 minutes to take bus No. 16 from Nanjing Hotel station to Changle Road station during rush hours. Today it takes 21 to 27 minutes. Rainy days last longer. Among them, waiting for the train at the station, waiting in line to get on the train, and parking at the intersection are delayed by as much as 5 to 10 minutes. Ride comfort also declined. Although traffic accidents have decreased year by year, they continue to occur. In 2004, there were 2608 cases and 687 deaths. In 2005, there were 1716 cases and 560 deaths. As for how to improve the traffic situation in Nanjing, it has been determined to build four centers in Nanjing, that is, the bellows ring stiffness testing machine in the command center of the main traffic hub in Nanjing. Will you use this platform to build the main traffic hub monitoring center, traffic data center, traffic call center, and traffic digital video production center. Here, the author draws on the ideas of Jiangsu and Nanjing intelligent transportation system scheme to realize functions based on the existing incomplete resources around the four centers. In order to establish a fast, safe and comfortable intelligent transportation system in Jiangsu Province, which can develop with the progress of science and technology. (Figure 1)
Nanjing intelligent transportation system is composed of the following subsystems:
(1) intelligent signal control system
(2) traffic monitoring system
(3) traffic information release system
(4) network and management platform
(5) intelligent public transportation system
2. Intelligent signal control system
traffic signal control system is an important system to maintain urban traffic order, which is usually installed at intersections and designated locations. There are about 1000 T-junctions, intersections and five-star junctions in Nanjing. There are more than 800 intersections that have been equipped with traffic lights. However, at present, the switching time of the signal lamp is fixed. Reduce road utilization and transportation efficiency. For example, the traffic lights at the intersection of model road and Zhongshan North Road are on for 50 seconds, so there is no traffic flow in 28-30 seconds after the green lights are on in the north-south direction during off peak hours, while more than 60 vehicles have been parked in the east-west direction, with a length of about 80 meters. Sometimes the opposite is true. However, during rush hours, the normal circulation of more than 100 vehicles takes 42 to 46 seconds. Some vehicles were stranded at the intersection after 50 seconds. Build an intelligent signal control system connected by areas or sections to adjust the switching time of traffic lights according to the changes of road traffic flow. Form a green wave belt of regions and road sections to speed up the flow of vehicles in the city. Reduce traffic congestion
3. Traffic monitoring system
traffic monitoring system is a real-time, fair and scientific management means to collect traffic violation evidence for post-processing
except for snow and disasters, most traffic accidents are caused by speeding, running red lights, crossing the line and overtaking, and failing to maintain a safe driving distance, resulting in traffic chaos. Nanjing has nearly 400 traffic accidents on average every day. In addition to the above reasons, in the evening, trucks, engineering vehicles, agricultural vehicles, long-distance buses into the city accounted for a quarter of the accidents. According to incomplete estimation, Nanjing intelligent transportation system should install monitoring systems at 90% of intersections and transportation hubs with large passenger flow, such as railway stations, bus stations, docks, etc. Provide graphic information such as vehicle violations and congestion to the command center of the main transportation hub as a basis for decision-making and processing. Using IPv6 technology and new projection display system can solve the problems of increasing equipment at multiple monitoring points and expanding the area of the traffic hub command center
Jiangsu and Nanjing traffic monitoring systems should be composed of the following subsystems:
(1) urban traffic violation monitoring
(2) highway vehicle violation monitoring
(3) channel safety monitoring
(4) subway transportation
